My approach is rooted in an empathetic, evidence-based methodology that prioritizes the unique narrative of every client. I blend my clinical expertise with a practical and warm down-to-earth approach to create an open, trusting space to help you move from feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or trapped to one of confidently navigating challenges and flourishing with clarity and resilience. I look forward to working with you!
My APPROACH
A Collaborative Path to Wellness
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with decades of research expertise in relationships and mental health, I specialize in helping individuals and couples understand what drives connection, conflict, and long-term relationship satisfaction. In therapy, I use evidence-based approaches to address anxiety, relationship challenges, difficult work environments, and emotional patterns at a deeper clinical level, while my dating and relationship coaching offers a more direct, solution-focused approach for navigating modern dating and breaking unhelpful cycles. Whether through therapy or coaching, my work is grounded in relationship science and designed to help you gain clarity, build healthier patterns, and create more fulfilling relationships and a life aligned with your values.
My Background
Alongside a genuine and supportive therapeutic relationship, I believe that academic excellence and clinical rigor are the essential pillars of effective care. This is a brief overview of my professional journey, reflecting the dedication and training that inform my work as your therapist, coach, or consultant.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude with a minor in Anthropology studies. I earned my Master's (M.A.) and Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia. I also completed a pre-doctoral Internship and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Couples and Family Therapy. I've since worked in a small private practice providing individual and couples therapy, developed workshops for individuals with dating challenges, and provided one-on-one dating coaching.

In addition to my education and clinical training, I have nearly two decades of research experience working with couples across settings and ages - ranging from military families and Veteran couples to adolescent and young adults navigating romantic relationships for the first time. I'm passionate about helping individuals and couples develop rewarding relationships.

The cornerstone of my practice is to help you feel understood and actively supported. Reach out if you have any questions or would like to schedule an introductory call. I look forward to working with you!
